Ramdol Role
Ramdol was appointed to oversee the fit-out and refurbishment of co-working spaces spread across design district. This involved phasing works within spaces in different buildings whilst keeping a proportion of the operation live so members could still use the facility. We undertook the Development Management and Project Management overseeing the budget programme and delivery of the works.
Description
The Design District at Greenwich Peninsula is a purpose-built creative campus of 16 architecturally distinct buildings, offering affordable, flexible workspace for London’s design and tech sectors. At its heart is Bureau, the co-working arm of the District, housed across two buildings. It delivers approximately 30,000 sq ft of space, including hot desks, private studios, lounges, breakout rooms, and a café bar.
Members also benefit from access to 3 lounge spaces, free wellness classes, a rooftop basketball court, and discounts at Bureau Restaurant, our on-site restaurant.
Design District supports enterprises of all sizes, championing collaboration and creativity in an environment that's fresh, uplifting and community-focused.
The District also hosts a wide cultural programme, including exhibitions, workshops, and talks that reinforce its identity as a hub of innovation. Ramdol’s involvement ensured the successful delivery of flexible, high-quality space that could seamlessly shift between focused work and public engagement.
